The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect in the Saturday morning (Feb. 15) robbery of the Huntington National Bank at 8671 Owenfield Drive in Lewis Center. At 10:40 a.m. the bank was robbed by a white male, approximately 5’10” tall, and weighing 185 lbs. He was wearing a dark blue hoodie and dark grey jeans or possibly sweatpants.

The bank teller stated that the suspect is clean-shaven and possibly has acne scars on his cheeks. He wore black gloves and presented a note to the teller demanding money with no dye packs. He appeared unarmed. After receiving money, the suspect fled to the Chipotle business next door where he was observed entering the right rear passenger side of a late 1990’s/early 2000’s white, four-door Honda Accord. The direction of travel of the suspect vehicle is unknown.

The teller was not physically harmed.
